Digyo ISLAND
Digyo Island, which can be found off the shore of the municipality of Inopacan, is the smallest among the four gems that make up Cuatro Islas of Leyte.
DIRECTION
Once in Tacloban, get on a van traveling to Hindang, and may take approximately 3 hours. From MP Apartments you ride a Multicab to Inopacan which is only 8 min away. Once in town you can rent a boat for island hopping. The rates will depend on how big your group is and if you plan to spend the night on one of the islands.

Adoration MONASTERY OF MAMA MARY
HILONGOS, LEYTE—In the coastal town of Hilongos, about 45km south of Baybay City, 30 min drive from MP Apartments lies one of the most beautiful Marian monasteries in the region. Built on the scenic rolling hills of Hilongos town is the Adoration Monastery of Our Lady of Marangog. - Alden E
DIRECTION
Entrance to the monastery is free and is open from 6:00am until 5:00pm. Getting there is not a perfectly smooth ride. Portions of the 12km road are not yet concrete—it is a bumpy ride. There are habal-habals that can take you to the monastery and one way trip would cost around ₱150 per person. It is suggested pilgrims to form a group and rent a van. - Alden E
NATURE AND WILDLIFE AREAS
Hindang CAVES & WILD MONKEYS
Visitors will easily find the place because a road sign on the highway shows the way to the access road that will lead to the park entrance. Upon going to the entrance, a signage of Hindang Caves and Wild Monkeys will welcome you where one begins to climb a concrete stairway that will lead to the forest where the caves are hidden. From Tacloban City, one can easily go to the MP Apartments by taking a three-hour bus ride bound for Hilongos/Maasin/Bato, and from there, visitors can rent a tricycle or motorcycle to get to the Hindang Caves and Wild Monkeys. - AR

Canigao ISLAND
Canigao Island, located in the town of Matalom, is one of Leyte's tropical paradises ideal for summer getaways. It is a small island that can be easily accessed by boat from the mainland.
DIRECTION
From MP Apartments ride a van or a bus or your own car / motorbike going to Matalom (that’s about 40mins) and tell the driver to drop you off at the municipal plaza of this town. When in Matalom’s municipal plaza, ask the locals around about the pier going to Canigao, which is just a walking distance from there. So you don’t need to ride a tricycle.
Hours
Our reservation and front desk team are available Monday to Saturday from 9am till 6pm. Key lock box is used to enter the property. Password will be shared with you a few days prior to arrival. However please feel free to call us out of those hours should you need anything, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
